about me.
I’m Mathieu, a product designer based in Brittany, France.
I split my time between my desk and my woodturning workshop, switching between pixels and sawdust keeps me sane. I’ve always loved that mix of digital precision and handcrafted imperfection
I’m a big design enthusiast in the broadest sense, from interface systems to architecture, from good typography to how light hits a piece of oak. I started my career back when skeuomorphism was all the rage, and I still have a soft spot for those glossy buttons.
When I’m not working on product design, I’m probably outside. Surfing, running, or just exploring the coast. I also make my own hot sauce, Yassou Sauce, a small side project that grew out of my love for good food and strong flavors.
I’m fascinated by how design evolves, how tools shape our way of thinking, and how simplicity always finds its way back in style.
