App Design

2021

I worked with Dashlane’s team to redesign their mobile apps on iOS and Android, focusing on clarity and ease of use. The result was a simpler, more cohesive experience that earned an Apple Editor’s Choice Award.

Objective

Redesign the Dashlane mobile apps to deliver a simpler, more cohesive experience, balancing strong security with ease of use. The project aimed to make digital protection intuitive and visually modern while improving overall accessibility and onboarding.

Process

  • Worked closely with the in-house design and product teams to define a cleaner navigation system and hierarchy of key features.

  • Simplified core flows like password storage, autofill, and account recovery to reduce friction and cognitive load.

  • Contributed to the creation of a refreshed design language, aligning visuals across both iOS and Android.

  • Focused on building trust through tone, color, and motion, making complex security concepts feel effortless.

  • Supported QA and design handoff to ensure a consistent rollout and pixel-perfect implementation.

Outcome

The redesign brought measurable improvements in engagement and user satisfaction.
Dashlane’s mobile apps became a reference in password management, praised for their simplicity and consistency.
The product was later awarded the Apple Editor’s Choice, highlighting its user-centered design and technical excellence.
